The Broward County Lawyer Chapter of the Federalist Society hosted a Beachside Chat with Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice John D. Couriel and Florida Atlantic University President Adam Hasner to celebrate 250 years of “American Exceptionalism.”
Chief Justice Couriel and President Hasner discussed Couriel’s American story, the effect the nation’s founders had on their lives and the nation as a whole, and the nation’s path forward.
Guests were invited to view the Alan B. and Charna Larkin American Presidential Study, which houses an extraordinary collection of 46 letters signed by U.S. presidents, original copies of the Federalist Papers, and an original copy of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense.
The event was organized by Kyle Roberts, president of the Broward Lawyer Chapter of the Federalist Society and a member of the Board of Governors, and hosted at Florida Atlantic University’s Boca Raton campus in the Wimberly Library.
