REMINDER: John Sununu's Name is in The Epstein Files

After the Trump-Epstein Bookmobile was in Manchester yesterday, here’s a reminder that Donald Trump-endorsed U.S. Senate candidate John Sununu’s name is in the Epstein files.

Sununu was “caught in a lie” about whether he had visited Doha, Qatar, which is the location referenced in a Jeffrey Epstein email where Epstein wrote, “john sununu, has good stories.” This cycle, Sununu’s campaign has accepted tens of thousands of dollars “from multiple billionaires with ties to Jeffrey Epstein.”

Republicans and Democrats alike have called Sununu out for his lack of transparency on his potential ties to Jeffrey Epstein:

  • Former U.S. Senator Scott Brown: “Like, for example, why did he lie saying he wasn't in Doha? You know, when he was asked point blank, ‘Have you ever been to Doha?’ ‘No.’ Well, you know, he was, and he lied, and he had plenty of time to correct the record.”

  • U.S. Representative Ro Khanna: “[...] we need John Sununu to come clean. Did he ever meet with Jeffrey Epstein? Was he at this Qatar World Economic Forum? Did he ever meet with any Epstein associates? We need people to come clean about what they knew, and we need accountability.”

  • Former U.S. Representative Annie Kuster: “Voters are concerned about this Epstein class. They’re the powerful elite that are making the decisions. The last person we want to send to Washington is someone that’s going to help Donald Trump bury this story in the United States Senate.”

  • Former U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg: “Every time I look at a story about John Sununu, I see everything that people are so frustrated about with Washington. He is obviously very much a creature of Washington, somebody who was in the Senate when I was a kid, basically, and who is mixed up with some very unsavory characters. Being involved in the Epstein files is something that he has never really satisfactorily put people’s minds at rest around.”
